Whrrl Makes Story Telling Easy

- Image via Wikipedia
People are making their move to Whrrl. And rightly so.
What’s Whrrl? Its a relatively new, founded in ’06, photo story sharing site that lets you create stories. Collaborate on these stories crafted from your pictures, your activities and your personal moments. And of course, you can share them with your friends and your network via Facebook, twitter, links and embed options.
Whrrl’s photo story viewer adds an extra level of personalization and connection while sharing your moments. Interesting observation: Whrrl is attracting users at opposite ends of the social networking experience spectrum. I’ve seen both novice online users and the seasoned social veterans join the site recently. Maybe its the overall acceptance level of social media sites – maybe its just Whrrl’s time to shine?
Whrrl has some nice hooks as a service:
- Snow Cake dvdrip
- An incredibly easy to use web format
- Fully functional, free iPhone app
- Automatically create Facebook Albums
- Start, finish and edit – even after the story is over and published
- Google maps location indicators
- Use your digital camera to wirelessly stream photos into your story
Sure, it may take more time for the benefits of location based services to reach their potential. Use that time to make your connections even stronger.
Check out Whrrl for yourself, I’m sure you and your connections will enjoy it. Here’s a story from the Rochester Top 100 ceremony; Whrrl made it easy to share and include my friends.
