Make Clickable Twitter Backgrounds
The Sum of All Fears movie download
Optimize your twitter background to another degree with this slick browser-add on from ClickableNow. The script creates clickable links and images within your background. Once installed, an overlay lets you:
- Create a new text link box for URL’s, images and emails
- Move the link box anywhere on your background
- Create multiple links
Remember, your links are only visible to those who install the add-on to their browser as well. The effectiveness is directly related to how many people on twitter have the script in place – and how effectively the smart folks over ClickableNow can market this.
Couple of suggested usability and marketing improvements:
- Make the ‘New Link’ – ‘Save’ – ‘Delete’ tabs more prominent
- Make the five instructional bullets more concise
- Use the blue-space in the header to call out the ‘tweet this’ promotion even more
- Add the other clickable profile links to the top of the page as well
- Add Complete page titles and descriptions; more accurate keywords
They’ve done a good job of linking up with a twitter background company; hooking up with other custom twitter background companies would be a smart move to help promote them.
Nice add-on for adding an extra inch to your marketing efforts. It took me longer to write this post than to add the links to my profile.
Definitely a solution to the often asked, “When can I add links to my twitter background?”

Nod to @susiehume for digging it up.
